Run Support Weekend 2011

This was a weekend packed full of races and memories that supported both the Roman Catholic High School Teams and Dustin Bauer Memorial Fund.

 

I. The Roman Catholic High School Cross Country Alumni race

RCHS Alumni race BRD sponsored the Roman Catholic Alumni Cross Country team for the first time this year, at the Philadelphia Catholic League Cross Country Championships. The Alumni team helps support the great guys of the High School Cross Country team who are lead by Coach Kevin. The event had an awesome turnout and the team ran their hearts out. We would like to congratulate the Roman Cross Country Team on a good year and wish them the very best next season.

II. The Dustin Bauer Memorial Race

DBMF Race 2011Following the Alumni Race our next stop was Baltimore, where BRD sponsored the Dustin Bauer Memorial Funds Annual 5k race. The Dustin Bauer Memorial Fund (DMBF) honors the memory of the late Dustin M. Bauer, a competitive runner, by providing monetary support for educational and athletic scholarships. We are honored to have sponsored this event for the past 3 years. They came to us for both their logo and T-shirt designs. We also worked with them to establish the DBMF store which our team helps to maintain.
